#ProjectBones Three Summer Projects

As most of you know, this summer, Project Bones is bringing you three projects that Bones fans of all colors, shapes, and sizes can get involved with. Here is a description of each one all in one convenient place! A few things have changed so please read through carefully!

The Bones World Map:

Thought:

Bones might air in the US, but the Bones fandom is by no means limited to the US! It has resonated with fans worldwide by the millions. To represent that we want to do a map, using pictures of all of the fans.

What do I Do?:

Simply email a picture of your choice to gummypjs@gmail.com along with where in the world you hail from. If you want, US peeps, please include your state and Canadians include your province. We have new software so the size does not matter as long as the picture is square. Please use .jpg format! NO USERNAMES ARE NECESSARY! Only the location you give us will be listed. The pictures will then be compiled and made into a photomosaic map of the world. An example can be found here: http://yfrog.com/gy5bruusj

Will it Be Available?

It will be available on Snapfish.com in the Project: Bones group room for you to order as a poster, mug, mousepad, framed art (anything you choose).

Our goal is to have this done and give one fanmap poster to Hart Hanson and company at Comic Con! The deadline is June 30, 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Project #2: The Baby Book

Idea:

To celebrate the birth of Michael Staccato Vincent Hodgins and Baby Brennan-Booth (and Emily’s real baby), let’s put together a Bones Baby Book! Similar to the Bones Yearbook, this will be a photobook celebrating the diversity of fans the world over.

What do I do?:

To be included, simply email the username you wish to be registered under, a BABY OR YOUNG CHILD (up through age 4 or 5, though we prefer baby/toddler pictures if you have them) picture of yourself, along with your birthday- Month and Day – given in this format MM/DD (American-style, I know you international folks do it differently) to gummypjs@gmail.com with the subject Baby Book. Pages will be divided by month and will be in order by day of the month so PLEASE Don’t Forget to include your birthday!! Photos should be 48x48 and may be in .png, .gif, or .jpg format. If you don’t have a baby picture of yourself you may send one of your children. We want to include as many people as possible so send us your picture!

Will it Be Available?

Like the Bones Yearbook, the Baby Book will be self-published on Lulu.com for you to order. Cost will ONLY COVER printing and shipping fees and will go directly to lulu so NO FAN is making money off of it.

Project #3: The Baby Shower

As a way of throwing a “Baby Shower” for our two favorite couples - and for Emily’s real baby - would you consider making a donation to Shriner’s Pediatric Hospital or to Stand Up To Cancer? These are two wonderful and highly reputable organizations seeking to make a difference in the world. We have set up group funds directly through both organizations that you can donate to:

Stand Up to Cancer: http://www.standup2cancer.org/custom/?c=team&a=index&id=5101 . The money will go right to the charity, NOT through our hands. Our goal is $4000.00 ($2000 for each charity). We want to honor the show that brought us together and introduced us to lifelong friends - so we’ve set up this site as a way for fans to give back. Let’s celebrate life and show how HUGE the Bones Fanbase heart really is!!

Our goal is to present a baby book to HH and co at ComicCon along with a total money tally. The deadline to be included IN THE BOOK is June 30th, but we will continue raising money at least through the summer.
